Oliver and Jessica were so lucky to meet each other. They became playmates in a neon-coloured univers made of fantastic adventures, dances, crochet clothes and unconditional friendship – but unfortunately also made of beers, red wine, withdrawal symptoms and mental illness.
When the camera becomes part of the game itself, and leaves its role of a mere external viewer, we get suddenly exposed to a very honest –and sometimes unpleasant– raw reality. Something rarely seen in movies before.
I am so grateful that I was allowed to play along with Oliver and Jessica by watching their many-hours footage and editing this film. I felt the luckiest person in the world when I was arriving to work every day, turning on the screen, diving into their universe and abandoning the dull real world.
They are some of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. Enjoy the film.
